| Skydiving is a very important,
and all encompassing part of my life. It has given me confidence in every
other venture I undertake. I started skydiving in the summer of 1992, when
my dad bought me a static-line first jump course for my High School graduation.
I made four jumps that summer, so did Dad, and then I went off to school.
Three years later, my dad decided to check out a drop zone that he had
heard about, but we had never been to, Oklahoma
Skydiving Center.. He told me he was thinking about jumping again,
and asked if I wanted to go with him. I reluctantly crawled out of bed
at 7:00 on a Saturday morning, and sat through another first jump course.
Somehow I got hooked this time, and in short order we were jumpmasters,
teaching people how to skydive ourselves, and having the time of our lives.
So it began...
Ahhh! The inverted bi-plane at Quincy!!
What student gear looked like at Paradise in 1992.
